Contacting the Weird Luck Team
Below you’ll find a handy contact form that you can use to contact the Weird Luck creative team. But before you do, there are a few important things you need to know…
You Won’t Always Hear Back from Us
We appreciate your messages very much, but please understand that we lead very busy lives and simply won’t have time to respond to most of the messages we receive. However, if you send us questions about Weird Luck, we’ll most likely end up answering them eventually in one of our occasional “Ask Us Anything” posts.
Online Shop Orders
To order Weird Luck merchandise, please use our online shop rather than this contact form. For Weird Luck publications not available directly through our shop, go to the Weird Luck Books page and click on the cover or title of a book for information on where it can be ordered. Use the contact form below if you order anything directly from us and have any problems with the order – that’s one kind of message we’ll always respond to.
If there are any technical problems with the Weird Luck website – or problems with things like online store orders or the Weird Luck Patreon – we most definitely want to know about them!
How to Get Updates from Us
Although we don’t have time to send personal responses to questions like “When is this book going to be available” or “Will you be at this event,” you can easily stay informed on such matters by subscribing to our email newsletter using this handy link. Our newsletter is awesome, and is infrequent enough that it won’t get annoying. News about upcoming publications and events and such will also show up in Nick’s short blog posts that appear underneath each week’s comic page.
Don’t Send Us Story Ideas
Seriously, just don’t. We’re writing Weird Luck ourselves, and we already have so many ideas and so much story to tell that we’ll never get to it all in our present lifetimes… and we keep thinking of more. And if people send us story ideas that are similar to ideas we were already planning on using, it puts us in an awkward legal position because we could be accused of having stolen the ideas even though we thought of them first (and you might be surprised at the possibilities we’ve thought of). If you have ideas for stories set in the world of Weird Luck, write fanfic. We’re totally cool with the idea of Weird Luck fanfic. We won’t even sue.
For the legal reasons discussed above, we avoid reading Weird Luck fanfic ourselves. But we do love Weird Luck fan art (including cosplay – cosplay done well totally counts as art). You can’t send us fan art through this contact form, of course – but if you post it somewhere else online, you can send us links!
