And we’re back!
Welcome to “The Smiley Scheme,” the second chapter of Weird Luck.
And welcome to the headquarters complex of the Reality Patrol’s Tal Sharnis Bureau, where Agent Sojac lives and works when she’s not out on a mission.
It’s such a pleasure to finally be launching this chapter. As I’ve noted before, if this was a movie or TV show, the entirety of Chapter One would have been the five-to-ten-minute action sequence that happens before the opening credits and title appear onscreen. Now, here in Chapter Two, the opening title has appeared on the screen in big dramatic-looking lettering, accompanied by a burst of musical fanfare heavy on the bass, and we’re rolling along into the thick of the story. Buy the ticket, take the ride. And Mike’s art just keeps on getting better.
This seems like the perfect time to remind you all that Weird Luck is still a very new webcomic and very few people know about it so far. We’re going to need your help to change that.
If you’re digging this comic, please tell people about it.
I don’t know if this is your experience as well, but I personally find these days that there are so many comics, books, shows, and other projects in various media competing for my attention that it’s hard to know what’s worth checking out. So in the end, the one thing that usually gets me to check out something new is a recommendation from a friend.
So tell your friends, please! Spread the word, share links, help people find out we’re here.
See you next Wednesday,
